Rana Önoğlu has been involved in film theory and analysis since her years at Boğaziçi University and has worked as an editor for film magazines.
Many of his fiction and documentary films have been screened in domestic and international festivals and won various awards, the best fiction award being just one of them.
Rana believes that good fiction develops not only through technical knowledge or theoretical analysis, but also through an intuitive understanding, and teaches with an interdisciplinary approach.
In his trainings, he aims to strengthen not only the participants' use of editing programs, but also their sense of narrative and editing intuition.
